splitting HD wmv files
 

im having problems with windows movie maker changing the resolution of these HD clips im trying to split.. Is there anything else I can use to keep the resolution the same?

Not use Windows movie maker. ;) If you are just splitting them try this.

35.00 but works good and super fast. Doesnt re-encode just cuts the file and kind of reties the ends up.

There are a number of shareware splitting programs that can split wmv files quickly and easily including Boilsoft's Splitter.

yea i dont like windows movie maker, but im lazy i guess.. haha didnt have any problems until now. thanks for the heads up

say is there something i can use to re-encode i guess i neevr thought about that.. i need to reduce bitrate and stuff

If you guys are doing alot of video get either sorenson squeeze, or Procoder 2. If you need some work done be glad to help you.
