What kind of return can you get investing with investor companies like Fidelity?

Anyone know what the average returns you can expect investing with professional investment companies like Fidelity?

The company doesn't matter much, it depends on what they advise you to invest in, but figure anywhere from 6% to 30% (depending on your risk tolerance)

if you go for 6%, chances of a loss are very slim...the higher the return, the more risk, figure 6% = 1% chance of a loss, 30% =40% chance of a loss.. (These numbers are obviously made up, but you get the point :) )
