Yeah, it isn't very 'positive' for the white person who lost out on a job to someone because the colour of their skin is it ?!?!

I got passed over many times in Vancouver for people in a minority. Every job I applied for said "prefer a woman or a person in a visible minority"

Meanwhile, one of the biggest minorities in Vancouver is the white male. So I figured they must have meant me, but no luck.

Its a joke. The person who is most qualified to do the job should get the job regardless of skin colour. Our country has been going down this route for a long time now and its only going to get worse.

Dunno..generally not a fan of quotas, fast tracking, etc. However, we do need more police officers to get into those communities...particularly with language skills.
