What do you do when you have stalker who just won't give up?
 

I have a fan who somehow tracked me down and seems to know my every move. I am a huge Aerosmith fan and he went out and got tickets to the show which is 5 hour drive from where I live. Anyone who knows me knows I will not miss that concert! He icq's and emails me and talks as if he is my man. I doubt very much he is dangerous but what would you do in a situation like this? :throwup

Who are you going to the show with? Make sure they're with you at ALL times. Drive to the show in a car other than your own. When you leave, make sure you don't go straight home and watch your back. You might want to stay at a friends house. If you are approached by the guy, you might want to alert security of the situation.

A restraining order doesn't do much against serious stalkers, so watch your back and please be careful.

You do not want to react in any panic way because in a stalkers mind, a lot of them feel if you dont want them, sudden rage could take over. So if he shows up at your house, dont flip out and threaten your calling the police. Tell him you are "freshening up" and will be out in 15 minutes. Tell him you want to prepare yourself for him. Should give you plenty of time to call the cops and have them respond. Remember to play into his fantasy, and CALL the cops...then go lock yourself in a room with some pepperspray. Good luck!
