Signup Bursts, interesting
 

Has anyone else noticed this here that there are like these bursts of signups thruout the day meaning it can be kinda quiet for an hour or two and them BOOOM all at once many decide to signup?

The funny thing is that its always different hours and times so its not at night after 6 only or something.

Just wondering if you guys here experience the same thing? Is it something in the air that makes people horny as hell all of a sudden?

Most credit card processors don't report stats in real time normally they are behind 15 minutes. IE: Signup and it won't show up for 15 minutes. So of no signups happen for a block of 15 minutes and then the next you get 5 it seems a burst came in 30 minutes later all at the exact same time.

I get email for every signup or attemp and thats in real time so I can see these huge bursts

E-mails are the same way...Our stats are as real time as epoch and signups come in all day in bursts. It's not because that is really going on it's because Epoch and I-bill both arnt reporting at 100% real time. I can even sign myself up and go check stats and at times it wont show up for 1 minute through 15 minutes. Then it does and I get an e-mail. At other times it's instant. Soon as I click the button my stats show it.

Ever notice that 30 minutes before stats reset your signups slow down but the 30 minutes after you get a burst of signups? Every day this happens some what. It happens all day long as well.

I use ccbill the second a siggnup is done even an attempt I get an email im sure others here who use em can confirm

We use CC bill as well. We use just about every major processor. They all do the same thing. We do see real bursts as well for sure in the 4pst time frame a massive amount of signups will come in blocks.

One reason to know it's the processor is graph out the hours per paysite. If at 5:15 each paysite had a small burst in signups you know it's the processors. Which we know :)
