So I got the new icq and is there a way to import history?

I went ahead and got the new icq 6 which I like so far.

How do I import my history or is this even possible. I wish it did it by default grrr

Please advise.

Thanks so much

I ran into the same stuff. I lost all my history and could never get any answer as to how I could get it back. I would guess its gone for good

ICQ 6 is a huge piece of shit. Just too lazy to go back to 2003b.

You should still be able to do it by copying over the "HistoryDB" folder from your old directory (default /%owner/Application Data/ICQ%/...) to your new directory.

Just make sure your hidden directories are shown, and it should fly, I'd think.

damn there's gotta be a way

I lost mine too. Of course I had just lost 5 years worth of history a few months ago when I got a new laptop. That hurt. I feel like I lost my memory. I don't know who people are anymore, lol

It did it automatically for me ;-)
