So Eric changed my username because I challenged him to a mile run.

Have you fully recovered from your acl reconstruction?

Eric 04-18-2007 10:27 AM

Yeah running like the wind... Cory bragged that he ran a mile in 12 minutes. So I laughed at him. So we made a friendly wager that in a year we will run a mile and see who wins.

PS Cory... I walked a mile in 11 minutes the other day. Just to let you know.

Because Cory is still recovering from the surgery he had like 9 months ago on his knee. So he needs time to recover and then get back into some shape. Not like it will matter anyways.

That would be an 8 min mile, since its 12min for 1.5 mile.

shoeaholicanon 04-18-2007 11:32 AM

No, I am pretty sure they are talking about 1 mile, although Josh mentioned 1.5 above :thumbsup

I hate running, I would rather get my cardio any other way, but it does get you in great shape fast.

Cory W 04-18-2007 11:42 AM

Don't fan the flames boys.

My ACL is still not recovered. Once it is, I will return to my true form.

I don't run like the wind, I am the wind.

That is impressive. I use to average around 5:20. We use to get timed once a month for Soccer in high school. Last time I was timed was in college and it was around 5:45.

I wish I could say that I could come close to this now but the truth is that I am very out of shape.

A friend just ran the Boston Marathon the other day and he is fat....it made me say fuck it. Next year I am going to run myself. I am shooting to go sub 3 hrs. We will see.
