Look...let's get serious. All the gun control laws in the world would not have prevented this kid from doing what he did.

If you're someone who wants to kill a bunch of people, and you're not concerned with dodging the cops, or even walking away alive, no laws of any sort are going to deter you from reaching your goal.

I think looking at the evidence you are wrong here. When was the last time there was a crazy guy gun massacre in another developed nation which has tight gun control? Coincidence these things always seem to go down in the USA & guns are so available there? I think not.

Yea its so fucking obvious, but the pro gun people will always use ridiculous arguments to save their right to bear guns. And it's not their fault, hell if Id live there and had guns all my life i'd prolly react the same way. Whenever a certain industry outlived the person, the person doesn't know the alternative - plus the US economy depends on that particular industry so they'll never change the way things are now. Economy before health of the people, they're really good at that.

You can't say that with any real meaning. Every situation is different, and I'm sure one's chances of winning an armed confrontation goes up if the person defending themselves is the type that doesn't panic and knows how to shoot with accuracy.
