Calling It Quits: $83,000.00 GAMBLING LOSS Since January.
 

Did my papers... Im in the red a little over $83,000.00 on sports gambling since January.

I am officially taking a break from Gambling until October/ November.

Rough fucking year thus far.

A bad couple months really added up.

I will however still be playing in the World Series of Poker this summer..

ITs only sports gambling I am quiting.

So Ill stll see some of you there!

Sports Gambling has been rough.

I should have listened to Bank Of America.

Im missing over 83k. It was 40, then 50, then 70.. I should have stoped chasing after 30..

But its the nature of the beast. I admit I lost control. Time for a break.

Gambling is fun but it usually never "pays off" in the longrun...

I was just talking to you the other day and we were chatting about biz.. Outside the industry..

And I remember talking about my investments which are pretty good, and how Id be even better off if I hadnt wasted so much gambling and put it into other biz opps..

I think thats what my wake up call was.

Well 5 years out of 70 or so years in life of gambling is a very short term.

YEah I may have done well in 5 years of gambling, but I agree give me 20 more and it would be difficult to duplicate that.

The human emotion in gambling and getting caught up it too powerful to manage..

The moment you start chasing you are fucked. And its a very hard dicpline to not do. Something I couldnt control thats for sure.

I have to take a break. Im done for now.

I could have bought a nice car with this money.

Or another large payment on some investment.......


Gambling was one bad investment. It took away from what I could have done instead.

80k is a lot of money... You dont realize it in the moment.

Ive re-channeled the energy......

I cant get rid of the energy, or that drive. Its that obsessive tick in me that has made me, and that which has hurt me.

Ive been able to take that drive away from gambling in the past and did great things with it.

Opened resturants, casinos, online ventures, property, etc..

I just need to do it again.

Wake up and snap the fuck out of it. Thats all.

Realize and move away from the gambling and focus the energy somewhere else.

Ill be fine.

I stopped seeing "locks" and needed to just gamble for the action and to win my money back.

That was the problem..

I needed action everyday. I couldnt wait and be dicplined for the locks.
