What did you guys think? I like the way they are building up the tension. The second half of this last season should be pretty crazy.

I know you guys wanna see everyone wacked but do you like the show so far?

I get the feeling a lot of people miss the subtlties of the Sopranos. There are little things, nuances, could be a look or something said the second before the scene changes, but when you pick up on them the show really shows you it's depth.

There is much more to this series than wise guy wackings and shootemups. Much more. A lot of people on the boards were crying last year about how the show sucks and is too boring etc, they wanted it to get back to the good ol mobster whackem killem shootemup action shit, which is fine... but anyone saying they are a true fan of the series really should be looking for those little nuances I'm talking about.

Because there seemed to be only a few people last year still singing the show's praises, and I happened to be one of them. I think this is one of the best series ever created, and it's too bad the powers that be are hell-bent on making this the last season.

I'm sure they will go out with a bang though.

The episode for next week looks good. Hinting at whacking Paulie, which I've been waiting for for years.

One problem I'm seeing... too many fucking characters. Two episodes now and Paulie has been in 2-3 scenes as background, Meadow and AJ haven't done anything, Sil has barely been a part, there's no business going on. I don't care about the damn New York family.

Tony isn't looking at whacking Paulie he's testing him so he can take over the family when Tony retires which I think he will do on the last show ?

CDSmith I totally agree, I've watched the whole serie at least twice... Great serie.

From what I remember, Paulie isn't full blooded Italian. He can't run the family. He's part Irish.

is he more like a jack nicholson? :)

I don't watch it. The mafia genre is too old.
