Anybody with a BLACKBERRY on a 3G network?????//
 

I am pissed casued Cingular Blackjacks are on da 3g and my 8800 is on there damn edge network

I swapped 3g sim card in from Izzz and the shit didnt work on my 8800

At one point a rep from Blackberry just said that they focus on optimizing their EDGE connection. There's not a ton of 3G coverage.

The Windows-based Treo 750 and the Blackjack are UMTS.. in the past I've preferred Palm or Blackberry, but this Blackjack I've been using is not half-bad.. I like how small it is. The battery just isn't real hot.

Part of Cingular's 3G is not just the internet speed but also the streaming music, mp3 player, and video applications. These aren't really geared towards the average Blackberry user.

I've had 3 blackberrys, and I have the pearl now, it's by far my favorite.

Yeah I'm on the edge now and got the cingular unlimited bandwidth plan and I'm pretty happy with EDGE, for now at least
