Can A VISTA running system be CLONED.......

On a bigger HD without any issues???

Just curious if the asswipes put any countermeasures for that.

Basically move all the shit from on System to a beefier HD and put the BEEFY

hd in the sytem and use old HD as a blank HD for backup.

Ram and HD changes don't set off XP, so you should be fine with a HD clone. Worst case, you call up the number and have them re-auth you.

You spend more time HERE than it would take you to step through the phone system with MS. :thumbsup

One of the great things is that your re-activation is usually forgotten every other month, or so. I ended up getting a replacement Dell for one that died, and for some dumb reason the new one was not formatted, and did not have a key, so I ended up using the key from the first one.

Eventually, however, Dell fixed it.

Eh - anything that does the job, does the job. I've used TrueImage before, and it worked fine. :)
