Anyone answer a home network question
i have been having a helluva time getting more then 1 computer online
i have reset my cable modem, my router my hub rebooted computers, i have removed the router and ran off the hub i can only get 1 computer on at once.. no matter what i try... i am on a hardwired set up nothing wireless.. each computer can find its network addy seperatly and they always say limited connectivity unless 1 gets connected.. any help would b appreciated |

check the wire connection then set the cble modem again then you try.....

if it's WIndows XP I think there's a wizard you can use to create the network
even with the wizard it took me fucking weeks to get it all right. I could see the PCs on the network but only untill the net reboot, there was a lot of Googling and I'm not even sure how I manage to get it right you have to enable the guest accounts on the PCs too, have the same name workgroup and so on....pain in the ass |

xp pro both computers... the both worked fine till the fuckin cable guy came out and brought me a new modem... now nothing works the way it did
all cables are new and connected properly |
