Zango on the run ?

I have received unconfirmed reports that Zango has " quickly moved out of their Bellevue, Washington office."

I bet if (hopefully when) zango goes down that they roll on all you fucks that use them. You all know what you are doing is 100% wrong and should be illegal, the laws have never had to address anything like this before.

Just like Zango rolled on AFF to deflect the attention from themselves 6 months ago, if they go down you better believe they are going to turn on everyone who ever bought traffic from them.

You getting nervous sex search and sexbankroll ? :winkwink:

martinsc 04-14-2007 11:13 AM

where did you get that report from?

Kevsh 04-14-2007 11:14 AM

Hmm, interesting.
(sorry that's the only thought I could muster)

Digipimp 04-14-2007 11:15 AM

what is zango

from someone who lives in that area and said that the buildings there were located in are now vacant and since they pass that location often they had to have moved out quick.

Source is reliable. But I have not received any confirmations. Anyone live in that area ?

zango zango zango

VicD 04-14-2007 12:46 PM

DatingGold 04-14-2007 12:50 PM

Washington is one of the worst states they could possibly operate in.

The solution for bittorrent sites is relatively simple: Seed them full of shit. Set up huge files that promise "whatever" and return nothing but ads. Do that often enough, and people will stop relying on torrents for porn.

It is especially good if you seed out corrupted version of the originals... really screw people up.

Enjoy.

heh if only it was that simple.

RawAlex 04-14-2007 01:53 PM

vvg, like anything - if enough people put their "thumb on the scale" you can change the readings. Most torrent sites prosper because their torrents are good. Seeding bad torrents, and seeding them repeatedly from many location is a way to cause major havoc. It isn't something you do from one PC in one location, but literally through hundreds of PCs, through proxies, and what have you, spiking the mix.

You would be surprised at what a little social disruption does for social networks.

You presume people running those torrent sites are morons and wouldn't get you banned in an instant they saw you seeding bullshit.

then they are exercising control over the content... and as such, are open to liability for copyright infringement facilitated by their site.

That's what the private torrent sites are for - do that and someone will report it and the torrent will be deleted and you'll be banned on the spot.

Even on the public torrent sites the fake file would be flagged quickly..

Ofcourse they are exercising control over what's posted. If you think you can go at them over that, go ahead, i doubt you'll make anything worthwhile out of it however.

true enough friend, i've been doing the routine w/ the corrupted segments for the last two years. i personally prefer the term "poisoning the stream" myself though..

Did Zango run from you Will? Or did you stop after AFF stopped using them Will? Transparent intentions anyone?

Let him bump zango threads. I had more success making people aware of zango and what it does then Sticky has had making money in the 8 years he has been in adult.

Like if bumping zango threads is going to hurt me. Hell thanks for saving me the time to have to do it myself, moron. :1orglaugh

Just tell me if Zango still exists, and still does exactly what they were doing or not. Did they change their business model? Why OH WHY did this issue drop? Its like a big fucking joke. :1orglaugh

Read up on such cases chum.

On some of the internet sites, the whole 'exercising control' (like that one date review site, or forums) is the issue. You can't claim "my members upload w/o knowledge' if you show you are reviewing/editing content.

Xplicit 06-17-2007 09:13 PM

Zango is nuts for staying based in the USA for this long anyway. I'm surprised they didn't move their little operation a long time ago.

For the ELEVENTH time now do you or don't you have a problem with any sponsor specifically a sponsor of the ASACP running ads and making a profit off of clicks coming form people looking for cp and and making a profit of other peoples stolen work?

The only reason you dropped the zango torch is cause Aff dropped them. That and that alone. Its pathetic.

I think the sites the advertising that content need to resolve those issues, and it should be encouraged by said sponsor for them to do so (if they are aware of said issues) I do NOT think it is the job of the sponsor to police their affiliates sites. Plain enough for you?

whatever was Wills agenda (if he had one or not) doesn't matter to me, you think AFF dropped zango cause they felt a bit of campassion and so they wanted to do the right thing? Or is it more likely they dropped it cause they were getting so much shit from people for using them? and if Will made it so a big sponsor like AFF stopped using them then his job was done...

you seem to be stuck up Wills ass lately, and as much as he hates AFF you seem to be doing whatever it takes to defend them....and please dont use some lame as excuse like "oh but sir he started it first" cause we arn't in highschool, even though your recent actions might put your mental capacity somewhere in 5th grade.

Explain to me again what is wrong with torrents. Remember I said torrents, and not illegal sharing.

What if the site's users are voting crap off, like digg users vote for content.

sorry, i'm not going to waste my time arguing semantics w/ you. its very apparent that here on gfy any mention of torrents is near always in relation to their usage to steal and convey stolen content... we aren't ever talking about using torrents to share new builds of Linux here from what i've seen.

in the *context* of most discourse here on gfy, torrents are seen as a huge problem to the business model that many here rely on for their livelihood..

They will go away and come back as a totally different company - "Mango"

Torrents are websites that people make money from. If you share on there sites it's part of the network. One time bangbus was on there and made money.

Got it?

So why do torrents differ from newsgroups again?

As I've said before, trying to debate with Sticky is like trying to discuss politics or theology at the finish line of the special olympics.

Sticky has about 1400 questions he's yet to answer, but always leaves off with a question, it's quite amazing.
