I have received unconfirmed reports that Zango has " quickly moved out of their Bellevue, Washington office."

I bet if (hopefully when) zango goes down that they roll on all you fucks that use them. You all know what you are doing is 100% wrong and should be illegal, the laws have never had to address anything like this before.

Just like Zango rolled on AFF to deflect the attention from themselves 6 months ago, if they go down you better believe they are going to turn on everyone who ever bought traffic from them.

from someone who lives in that area and said that the buildings there were located in are now vacant and since they pass that location often they had to have moved out quick.

Source is reliable. But I have not received any confirmations. Anyone live in that area ?

Washington is one of the worst states they could possibly operate in.

Will after your done with Zango we need you to go after the bit torrent sites next.

The solution for bittorrent sites is relatively simple: Seed them full of shit. Set up huge files that promise "whatever" and return nothing but ads. Do that often enough, and people will stop relying on torrents for porn.

It is especially good if you seed out corrupted version of the originals... really screw people up.

vvg, like anything - if enough people put their "thumb on the scale" you can change the readings. Most torrent sites prosper because their torrents are good. Seeding bad torrents, and seeding them repeatedly from many location is a way to cause major havoc. It isn't something you do from one PC in one location, but literally through hundreds of PCs, through proxies, and what have you, spiking the mix.

You would be surprised at what a little social disruption does for social networks.

You presume people running those torrent sites are morons and wouldn't get you banned in an instant they saw you seeding bullshit.

then they are exercising control over the content... and as such, are open to liability for copyright infringement facilitated by their site.

That's what the private torrent sites are for - do that and someone will report it and the torrent will be deleted and you'll be banned on the spot.

Even on the public torrent sites the fake file would be flagged quickly..

Ofcourse they are exercising control over what's posted. If you think you can go at them over that, go ahead, i doubt you'll make anything worthwhile out of it however.

On some of the internet sites, the whole 'exercising control' (like that one date review site, or forums) is the issue. You can't claim "my members upload w/o knowledge' if you show you are reviewing/editing content.

Zango is nuts for staying based in the USA for this long anyway. I'm surprised they didn't move their little operation a long time ago.

I think the sites the advertising that content need to resolve those issues, and it should be encouraged by said sponsor for them to do so (if they are aware of said issues) I do NOT think it is the job of the sponsor to police their affiliates sites. Plain enough for you?

sorry, i'm not going to waste my time arguing semantics w/ you. its very apparent that here on gfy any mention of torrents is near always in relation to their usage to steal and convey stolen content... we aren't ever talking about using torrents to share new builds of Linux here from what i've seen.
