There have been many changes regarding laws in adult entertainment over the last few years, primarily here in the US. The one law that seems to be on everyones mind is 2257. As we are an American company, we must be compliant with all 18 U.S.C. 2257 compliance regulations. The law that was set in place on June 23rd, 2005 and was reinforced on July 27th 2006, requires all U.S. companies to be a ?producer? of their own records.
Due to the recent news of the court ruling on the government?s motion to dismiss the Denver Free Speech Coalition case on March 30, 2007, there has been a lot of speculation and panic regarding 2257. We are involved in the adult entertainment business which happens to be online which affects the world. Because we are engaged in business all over the world it is our duty as a business owners and operators to be aware of and work with the various laws that affect the various countries we do business in, as that is the nature of our business.
Since the laws inception Naughty America put all its efforts into fully complying with the law. The 2nd, your agreement to post a 2257 hyperlink at the bottom of your page which provided a statement stating all the models were 2257 compliant and your business information. The 3rd, that you download the 2257 records in order to maintain your own records and become compliant.
Our company is requiring all of our affiliates, foreign and domestic, to be compliant to that law. Make sure you understand that you only need to be a certified gold affiliate if you will be downloading our hardcore content to promote our sites off of your servers. Once certified with us, we provide a simple easy to use, and regularly updated system to download content and 2257 records.
