Barking Dogs ... Must Die
My Dogs never shut up ... I have tried just about everything ? anyone have any good Idea ?
|
A muzzel.
|
Nothing worse than a barking dog, and useless owners that don't get them to shut up. Buy one of the collars that zap them every time they bark.

Take them to the same place I took mine. Problem solved.

Get a shock collar with remote, coin has one for his pittie works wonders for all types of training, and you can set the sensitivity of the shock.
|
There's 2 dogs in our street that never stop barking... :disgust
|
A fenced in backyard so that he can work off some energy and a bark collar, don't waste your money on a cheap one tho, they are useless.

Used the shock collar on my dog and it only took a couple of week before the problem went away altogether. The collar will beep once on the first bark to warn the dog. The second bark is what feels like a static electricity shock (I made it shock me just to check it out). I'd originally heard whack stories about people who's dog had a burn hole in their neck from the collar. Guess what? Turns out these stories were bullshit urban myths about the collars. After one month I took the battery out of the collar. Silence. The next month no more collar. That was 6 years ago.

i personally am sick of other peoples dogs. where i live it seems everyone has a dog, and the neighbors dog shits in our yard, there are always people walking by letting their dogs shit by the sidewalk and usually they pick it up. it wouldn't be so bad but they love to shit right in view when we are eating supper.

get a dog whisperer
like on oprah he will teach you that "you are the pack leader" |

A muzzle won't stop a dog from barking.
Shock collars are considered cruel by most veterinarian. You can try a remote controled spray collar. Instead of shocking the dog, it sprays water up in to their face. In reality, these types of collars mean you don't know how to deal with the dog. They're mostly only used for very, very, very stubborn cases. First though, I'd try obedience training. This usually changes the personality of a dog quite a bit, for the better too. |
maybe your dog have a sick..i think you should bring him to the veterinarian for a check up..:)

I wonder what your neighbors think.
My neighbors have a dog that has been barking for 2 years straight. That damn thing wakes my up just about every morning. I love dogs, just not ones that bark. |

A good example of this is when two female dogs fight, called bitch fighting. You'll almost never be able to break this apart by commands or any other way other than water to the face of physically prying the dogs apart. On the other hand, a dominate male can break it up in no time if he so chooses to. :2 cents: |

Now you are reading my mind.:thumbsup |
maybe the dog wants to get out or something

Same problem here. My Lab is six months now and FULL of energy and barks a lot. When I'm at work or upstairs working at home I put her outside (but it's not a big space) and she jumps and barks like nuts now. She stops if I let her in.
My neighbors just came to me to complain, apparently it's against the law to have pets in Costa Rica in Condominiums (even if it is NOT in my contract and I double checked). So now I really have to find a way to get her to stay quiet. I just did some research and the spray color with lemon sounds like it has a good reputation, only costs about $100 for a pro one. I'll try and see if I can get that shipped to CR anytime soon heh. She does sleep well at night in her crate though and has no problems, it's really only if she is put outside. |

It really sounds like your dog isn't getting enough exercise. Active labs really need a work out or they'll go nutty. There's an excellent obedience trainer in Heredia I can put you in touch with and that'll help too. |

I have managed to house train her though without much effort (the crate helped tremendously for night times). So I'm pretty sure I can get around her barking :) |
Just take your dogs to Dr. Phil and he will solve your problems within minutes!
|
FYI, my dog only barked when I left. Any little sound set him off and it pissed off the neighbors. I'm sure the lemon spray collar would have been just as effective. My vet sold me the shock collar, so the idea that "all" vets think they don't work isn't true. It literally is like a static electricity shock. Startling, but that's it.

The estate next to mine, has like 10 fucking guard dogs. Lucky for me, its a popular person :)
|
That's why I prefer my cat..dogs are great but too much effort.Obedience classes are a must
