I'll add... prior to the time of the "online industry", there was no... call it "disrespect" to those in front of a camera.

This is only my :2 cents: but suspect the change of slant has come thru "amateurism" and ignorance - possibly from webmasters who have never been involved in content production and assume a lot.

At varying degrees over years, I've known (and still in contact with a few) a number of models and they ended up more friends than anything. OK.. some were kinda scatty brained *s*, but the majority were normal people. I'd also say that as friends and having a decent relationship with em results in better content production - they basically understand what is needed and we work together to get that end result.

To even think of decrying the talent is not only non-productive in the economic sense, but also says a lot about you.

The most logical thing would be, I would simply say "This is what I felt I needed to do to support myself". There are a lot of people who *need* to sell themselves to afford a habit, their children, and possibly a sick relative or to send money back to a family in another country.
