Like other's said there is now a ground swell of people that aren't even watching the show, but are voting for him just because they want to see someone bad win. I don't watch the show after the first few episodes are over, but I think it's funny as hell and I hope he does win.Comment

Well, that certainly explains it. I'm so out of the loop on AI crap.
I don't feel so bad about his continual successes then.
However, the whole thing will be a moot point once the execs clue in and disqualify him based on all of these websites which will ignite a debate on whether it was done because it was fixed (by producers) or because it was done to prevent a fix (by disgruntled voters).Comment

VoteForTheWorst.com might keep someone in a week longer than normal, but that's about it. That site and Stern just don't have the following to match legit AI fans.
Sanjaya still has the teen girl vote going for him. I doubt they are voting for anyone else. He will be vulnerable next week, and definitely won't be here in two weeks.Comment

The producers of the show basically shot themselves in the foot by showing the awful auditions more than the good auditions. Ever since the whole William Hung season people know that if you want to make it on TV you just need to sing really bad or show up in some crazy costume and act like a nut. If they hadn't been so greedy for air time and commercial spots by showcasing the no talent losers I don't think it would be this bad. But by doing that and then trying to say it's a singing competition is a joke.Comment

the funny thing is the ratings have been slowly slipping for the last 3-4 weeks. it's not a huge amount, but it a small slip. I think some people are getting fed up with it.
