Do models bring their own outfits/lingerie to shoots? Or to the photogs provide them?
 

just wondering if its mormal to tell a model to bring something sexy looking, or just say dont bring anything, we have all the outfits

You can tell her what to bring if you want. I've worn my own clothes and others clothes.

professional sets always gave my wife what they wanted her to wear, mom and pop shops always asked her to bring her own

I've got about 20k in wardrobe in my studio and another 20k or so in storage.....I still ask girls to bring their own wardrobe then I mix and match with my stuff if needed.

If it's a solo girl that I am shooting a site for, usually I take them shopping and buy all the wardrobe.

For many shoots I ask the models to bring their own street clothes like, say, a denim skirt and colorful top and sandals if the premise calls for that. But if I need specific outfits for other movies, like say a cheerleader outfit or school girl outfit (couple of grand worth in my closet), or sexy pajamas, I usually supply those for the models.

A mixture of both. I tell them to bring what they have but I also get their sizes an supply stuff. Especially undies and lingerie.

Yeah, but half of that doesn't count 'cause it is in your closet for your personal use. :winkwink:
