Prosper.com - anyone tried it? great idea
i just saw this site last night, whoever thought of it is a genius. basically its kind of like ebay for lending. people create a profile and put up a listing for wanting to borrow $. then people can bid on how much $ they want to put towards it after reviewing the persons credit score and financial info. then the loan gets paid back over 3 years unless they pay it off early. basically just cutting the bank out as the middle man, but theres obviously risk involved.
