GAIM


I have had zero issues ever with GAIM. I haven't had a hiccup since all this stuff has happened. You can log in like 100 icq accounts if you want and all of your other ones too. You thank yourself for getting it.

So many advantages.

I have never had problems with icq, i dont know what all this hype is about

If your icq doesnt work use the "online" java version here http://download.icq.com/download/icq2go/

If mine doesn't work I just use that and it works fine all the time

I use trillian and haven't even noticed anything. I wouldn't even know there were any icq problems if it wasn't for GFY.

I have a simple copy of icq with a crap load of contacts on it, no worries

I love GAIM and have been using it off and on for years. My boyfriend is pretty good friends with the original developer. Good tip, airek!

ICQ has been fine for me too.

Been using gaim since the early early betas (and it really sucked then but the alternatives for Linux were worse :1orglaugh)

in all fairness my trillian at home hasnt had issues ever really except the occasional patch, but gaim has been rock solid for me.

hmm, I am checking it out, I have had serious problems with trillian as far as contacts and people staying added.

I use Adium and haven't had any problems as of yet.

well icq has been a bit flaky on me lately but am not going to switch to anything else as all my contacts on on it... and use trillian already so no real reason to change that either..
