Public Model release?
Hey guys, I got a new idea for a site...
but it would involve taking pictures of girls in public.. nonnude (or something) but I'd be in the pic, or someone else, I'd tell them they'd be on my site, do i need them to sign something so I don't get sued or anything? |
are you for real?
if you dont know anything about the business (you sure sound like it), please try starting from the beginning and go step by step.. |
Without a model release you may as well forget it. A model release, plus two forms of ID are minimum requirements.

fuck contracts.
A blow of load on the face is the only seal anyone needs on a deal |

Actually here is a story on why you need model releases. A friend of mine shoots porn flicks for VCA. I was in one, not in a sexual sense and not even in the room when the sex was happening. I was a friend who opened a door for him and he said hello to me and I said hello back. That was it. He edits the film etc and sends it to VCA. They send a letter back saying the film cant be released untill he has the documents from me, ID's etc and a model release. I am in the film for maximum 30 seconds, probably less.
