How long should gallery videos be?
 

Hey, if you've got a gallery with four videos in it, how long should the video clips be?

I think there are two philosophies: (1) show long videos, like 20 seconds each, to let people see how good the content is or (2) show short clips that cut off right when a good part (like an anal gape or a facial) is coming up so you leave people wanting more.

so, which one works better? if, for example, you just paid for a top hun spot, what kind of video gallery would you use, 8- or 10-second clips or 20-second clips?

i usually make galleries with 20 second clips and they work well for me

most mgp's accept 3-4 clips, 20-30 seconds each.

watermarking your videos is a good idea. just don't do a an intro to the video because it uses up time and will probably get rejected.

Never had a gallery rejected because the vids have intros. I don't even know if there's a script that can detect that. I always do a 2 sec intro with title and URL on it because lots of TPG vids get reposted in Yahoo groups and other places by people who download them and I want the URL right there when the vid loads. I had galleries rejected though because teh vids wer too short, and there an intro helps too.

I can tell you that as a surfer, I *HATE* it when little vid clips waste a few seconds on intros and all that other rubbish. If I'm downloading porn, I want porn. Webmasters who waste time and bandwidth with intros in 20-second clips really upset me. Why don't you instead use that bandwidth to improve the quality of the video a little bit instead?
