Toplist???? please explain
 

Ok, as you can tell by the question I am a newbie...Can someone please tell me what a toplist is???

I combined a toplist with the entrance of the website... but click any of those thumbs and you'll see a traditional top list (and give me some traffic out )

The idea is simply a long list of sites, sometimes with banners and descriptions.
You list people's sites and they link to you.

Imagine you are a poor surfer and come to one of these sites.. You see this huge list with 'sexy mamma f* whatever' etc etc.. so you click that link coz you love sexy mammas.

Instead of seeing sexy mamma's site, you get to the next HUGE list with meaningless links to even more meaningless sites....

So, surfers get into this circel which can generate some good traffic..., but if the traffic is of any use? Well I'll tell you that in a couple of weeks when I have been able to study the results of our own toplist.

I get a decent amount of traffic from some of the toplist I have joined. There's no way of me knowing if that particular traffic has lead to a sale. However, there is a direct correlation between my increase in traffic and my increased revenue.

The key is....design a site that people would want to jerk off to and the traffic will convert. LOL :-)
