I am an American. Been here for, I guess, three years now at University. I love the UK, especially Scotland. (Sometimes seems funny living in England now.. home away from home away from home...) Still, great place, glad to be here.

As an American living in the UK, how do you think the commercials compare? Is it my imagination or are they (for the most part) just plain better over here?

There is other inane stuff we could chat about but it all seems to escape me at the moment.

Heh. You noticed that too, huh? All of my American friends (and myself) have said the same thing. I think the crappy commercials here are even more crappy, the average commercial is a bit better, and the good ones are way better. Like Guinness commercials, for example.

Nice stuff. You get the feeling some UK companies just put more effort into it. (The best ones end up in the cinemas.. sucks to have ads in the cinema, but at least they are the Stella Artois ones and stuff.)
