Anyone Go To The Drive-In Anymore?
Nothing is as cool as a big ass Drive-In screen, fresh outdoor air and the snack bar food!!!!
Especially when the movie is a monster movie in 3D!!!!! Any Drive-In's near you? |
That wasn't me in your truck with your wife at the drive-in
|
We used to. We had an isuzu trooper at the time. We would lay the back seats flat, and then out in lounge chairs, and watch from the back of the truck. With the audio on the FM radio.
|
Not since I was probably 5 or 6.
Used to go alot as a kid. I remember whenever a boob or something came up my parents would tell us to turn our heads and we just turned around and watched it on the screen behind us. :1orglaugh |
We have one about 20 minutes away - it's great! Get an old truck, back it up, open up your folding chaise lounges and you're good to go :)
|
nothing fades smoking a fat blunt then strolling to the snack bar for some ricos nachos:thumbsup

There isn't one near me, I wish there was one.
:( |
We moved recently and there is one just minutes away that my parents would take us to when we were kids. I can't wait to check it out again.

Yes I must agree...we have a drive in just down the road and my kids love when we go. They can never stay up to watch both movies and they get mad that I LET them fall asleep. :) |
I sure the fuck don’t, mainly because most have been shut down. I would rather go the drive-in than at the movie theater anymore... I barely go to the movies anymore period because of all the fucking coons that ruin the experience.

We used to have all kinds of fun at the Drive-Ins. We still have 3 in my hometown area. I miss them. There are some still in California though.
They have the movie "Meet the Robinsons" in 3D at the theatres. I would like to see it in 3D at a Drive-In. That would rule! One of the Drive-Ins back home used to run xxx movies! Kids would hide out on the hills and in trees and you would see people doin' the nasty on a mega sized screen! They had to stop that shit, but it ran for years. |

I used to like going to them, but they ripped them all down for parking space and Industrial parks now
|
Someone opened this one near our cottage a few years back. They started showing them on a barn and it go so popular they now have three giant screens.

Gotta get me a classic car and go. I remember the great cars of the 50's and 60's that used to be in NY. They were built for Drive-Ins. Out here in California I was blown away my first day here as I stood out on my front porch and saw every classic car drive by in less than half an hour. It's getting few nowadays but my old pals who I used to customize cars with still own a fleet of classics. We're hanging out now and I'm studying the new customizing techniques and restoration techniques. Gotta get me a '63 T-Bird. |
I went to one out in Riverside or something near LA where I live it was suprisingly in good condition. Had a hot chick with me two I was about to score when the movie reel broke and everyone started honking. Got the location from some website I googled they had like every Drive-in theatre left in the USA. Check it out if your looking for one near you just google drive in movie theatres. Great place for a quickie in the ride!

Yep, the wife and I still go to a local drive-in occasionally (10 min. drive down the road). 4 screens...usually a good choice of flicks to see.
Our local drive-in also has the dubious distinction of being hit by a real tornado the weekend they were showing 'Twister' (with Bill Paxton). No shit - http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/twister.htm |

Well we all now know that Notabook is some lackwit knucklewalking throwback. Thanks for letting us know how bigotted you are so we don't jeopardize our business interests getting anywhere near you.

I remember that story! We couldn't believe it! We just sat slackjawed wondering what folks in that area must've thought when that happened. |
