It hi lights the difference in the industry and why some have a clue and others not a fucking hope in hell of getting one. This is happening on ICQ at the same time.

One guy wants HD content, exclusive and shot well. He's particularly interested in some good lesbian scenes.

So I told him to get the most out of girls 1-2 scenes in a day is best. Shoot it right and get the porn good. The easy part is the HD camera. Told him the price and he said yes and was willing to pay more for extras, like anal vibrator, fisting or Sybian.

Then the next guy. Hardcore anal sex scenes, set and video, good looking girls and stills shot in RAW and JPG. He wants to pay $1,000 a scene because a guy he is using is charging that. He wants to dump this guy because he does not like the quality.

He says we can do 3-4 scenes a day, pay the female models $500 and the boys will do it for a lot less. When I told him a boy girl scene will sell for more on the content store he told me his work is extra work. Like I need to work hard to make him money. :winkwink:

Then to cap it all he told me his site does not do that well and he can't afford more. Anyone want to tell him why he can't afford more and his site does badly?

I suppose I can stick some newbie shooter in the studio who will shoot scenes for $200 a day and pay the models $200 to $500. but what will that do to my reputation with models and agents. Some studios are going the other way, paying models more.

They are paying up to $1,000 a day the strategy is simple. Get the models first, shoot all you need of her and then let her go off. When her brother, Dad, boyfriend sees her pictures on the Hun and she quits the business you are left as one of the few with content of this girl.

It works a treat and it means you have exclusive content of a girl on a few sites, rather than content of a girl on 200 sites.

Jon I change direction all the time as the business changes. What I don't do is follow the route you think best. Let's meet at a show and see who has the biggest wallet. Sorry to bring it down to that but in business that's what it's about. How much you earn a day. Be careful I might hit you up on ICQ and find out what you charge. That is too funny. I am shooting in LA right now to get a quality girl to do anal you are going to pay at least $1,100, the male talent will get $500 the studio fee will be at least $300, you are at $1,900 before you even pay yourself for shooting it.

The only way you could produce a scene for that price is if you shoot an amateur couple in some Eastern European country.
