I Have it on satellite and it's good, neutral reporting of the news. The Riz Khan programs are also brilliant.
|
Oh yeah I'm sure Abu Nahasapeemapetilon is a reporter for them. The accent on some of their reports is way to funny.

my initial impressions...
- the people being interviewed are those unlikely to be given a voice on most western media, including everyday people in conflict countries. you get much more context to the stories presented. - production/presentation is a lot less professional than say BBC or CNN. I'm talking about everything from camera shots, make-up, graphics and transitions from one story to another. - the accents can be annoying, but you get used to them after a while. - I watched a couple of programmes. Riz Khan's interview of Klaus Schwab (founder of World Economic Forum) was just a QnA, I was quite disappointed. Insightful, but avoiding any controversy and very linear. - Ghida Fakhry is the Soledad O'brian of Aljazeera... damn she's hot! http://www.welikesheep.com/archives/ghida.jpg I figure I'll give the subscription a month or 2 and see if it grows on me |
