Concerned about your dedicated server security?

hey,

This is for ppl who has dedicated servers.

My name is Jacek and I am linux system administrator. I can help you with system security, maintaining system updates, protecting from hackers and I may install and setup services like http, ftp, pennywize, smtp, pop3, ssh, verotel, etc.

If you provide porn content you are especially at risk. (hackers, competition, outdated linux with bugs, etc).

If you need professional support on a regular basis get back to me at [email protected]

No joke. Random guy nothing but a GMail account asking for root access... yeah right. If anyone has had this person look at their server, I'd suggest portscanning the box yourself to verify he didn't setup a backdoor shell or anything else, and check your /etc/passwd file for new or recently-enabled accounts.

Well well, specialist on board. I feel not offended, because such scenerio is possible if some kid is looking for someones naivety. I am not a kid I am professional man who already has clients.
I am not asking for root passwords via gmail. I am expecting strictly business cooperation but this requires trust.

I'm just saying it looks suspicious, you join the board and straight away advertise server admin, noone will trust you enough IMO

If you're concerned about server security don't give root access to someone you don't know or trust with a gmail account !!!

If you're running a dedicated server with porn on it and you don't know anything about security you're already fucked ...:1orglaugh

:2 cents:
