Spring must be around the corner, got my 1st speeding ticket in yrs....

On the way down to Montreal on wednesday, coming around a bend on the 401 a cop hiding under a bridge. I am in the passing lane with vehicles beside me no place to go, slammed the brakes on , but no luck. He said he clocked me at 151km's about 90 odd mph. The ticket got reduced to 120 but, this is going to fuck up my 6 star rating on my insurance :disgust

Save the effort JFK and move - it's easier just to pay em off with $8 (negotiated down from an extravagant $20) :winkwink:

I used the same guy that Cam uses and he got me off a 141km/hr ticket completely and he's based out of the Oshawa area. If you want his info, hit me up.

I got my ticket in Kingston when it happened. I think the pricing schedule worked out as whatever fine you were given + $160 service fee. They'll travel for a large enough ticket, not sure if 120km/hr qualifies but worth asking.

I'll hit you up next week. The original fine would have been $600 or so he told me.I'm glad he knocked it back to 120km's which is only $90.The cop said he wanted to spare me a personal court appearence, which was nice enough of him:2 cents:

I think most of these ex-copper services will probably not be worth it then, I think most of them will charge at least a $100 surcharge. Guess it depends if its worth it from an insurance point of view to keep that clean record...
