Religious groups against adding an adult top level domain (TLD) for adult entertainment on the Web may have outsmarted themselves and instead helped protect such sex Web sites ubiquity. Oops. The "Family Research Council" (FRC), an extremist right-wing organization devoted to forcing Americans to conform to their extremely narrow view of morality was heavily against the idea of an "XXX domain" because they claim this would create a virtual "red light" district on the Internet.
