Damnit I want a steak. I shouldn't have had soup for dinner.

Steak is good, but too much is not good for your digestive system and can increase your chances of cancer.

Perhaps more fish, salmon or chicken? Fish is the best I think. Steak is hard to digest because it's so heavy.

So what is more healthy then; 8 onces of skinless chicken breast, 6 onces of trout, or 4 onces of steak?

Also what is the difference between fish and salmon?

depends on what you deem "healthy" healthy for someone trying to drop weight as fast as possible, healthy for some one "maintaining" weight, healthy for someone that's trying to put on muscle, or healthy overall living....

it's all a matter of lifestyle. If you do intense physical exercise very regularly then eating red meat just perfectly fine. If you don't do squat, you're better off with chicken/fish

Damn no need to get all preachy :winkwink: I was just being sarcastic about his heavier reason and use of the choice between fish and salmon.

Ah, Atkins.

Once you make it through induction, you learn amazing ways to make meat taste slightly differently.

The first four weeks or so, though... salty potato chips, I would have killed for.

Always wondered about this Atkins diet...

I eat bread EVERY DAY, I eat fish twice a week, some pasta, lots of chicken, I drink milk and pretty much everything else that I feel like. Yet, I am 6.2 tall and weigh in at 178 pounds and only work out about once a week (Yoga).

So what am I doing wrong? lol

Oh, and I only eat red meat ONCE a month aprox. - maybe twice...

screw atkins. I've tried the atkins diet and it's fucking lame. This diet doesn't have a "name" but I've lost 7lbs in about 2 1/2 weeks

workout more and ditch everything except diet soda/water. I'm in the gym 5-6 days a week for 1-2 hours. Oh and if you must have bread, switch to whole wheat
