ePassporte down; balance zeroed; electron card unusable
 

I know the ePassporte SITE has been down from time to time, but I've never had the situation where the Electron card was unusable. I was just DECLINED at an ATM...

EPassporte's site shows balance = $0.00 and "technical issues"...

Could the U.S. government have pulled the plug on ePassporte because of the gambing issue??? If the government were to do that, it would probably look just like it looks now...

i don't see anything wrong - but didn't use my card today. balance is correct though

They do this every week - I don't know why - I assume they are balancing the books.

I JUST used my epassporte card 10 mins ago. Went fine for me. I have been using it all day with no issues.

Switching to checks on all sponsors now. Un-fucking-believable. Epass taking longer than to receive checks now.

Give them a minute to handle their shit. why do people feel the need to slam someone or a company when they are having issues I'm sure they are working on it.

every bank goes down for a few everyone once in a while. When i was in PA my bank would go down like once a month or more at 2am on friday or saturday night. I only know this because i couldnt pay my bar tab.

IMO epass going down every once in a while is the cost of doing business. if you are relying on epass as your only source of funds and as a bank to hold your life savings, then you seriously need to reconsider your thoughts.

I like epassporte and have no problems with them and understand things happen like this. who knows, maybe they are implementing high end anitfraud measurements to stop your money from ending up in other peoples accounts

I was trying to use the ATM today at about the same time this thread was made. Didn't work.

i wonder how long its gonna be down? you'd think they would of at least had a message up. i checked before i left for the bank and nothing but when i got there, sure enough, declined. this was only about 20 minutes ago :(

Ummm... you do know this "maintenance" has been happening several times a week for the past 6+ weeks? Check back over old threads here, if you want a more precise timing.

In fact basically there has been a constant stream of issues since mid-January and I'm not talking about the - possibly - made-up stuff from EP "haters" but about the things beginning with those MO referred to in a statement here a few weeks back.

No withdrawal was allowed from the ATM, But i was able to sign for purchases.

Though you might be financially comfortable, not everyone here is. A majority here would be in trouble if they were suddenly screwed out of a few thousand dollars.

As a new program owner, we haven't even wanted to look into offering epassporte payments because of the bad press...

It means that once you reach a balance of $5K or more, your account will be temporarily suspended until you verify your identity.
