for those who say there is liberal media especially cnn

For much of the past week, CNN and its White House correspondent Suzanne Malveaux have offered a steady stream of inaccurate and incomplete coverage of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) trip to the Middle East and her April 3 meeting with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. Please join us in demanding that CNN and Malveaux stop misinforming viewers about Pelosi's trip and present all the facts.

Since April 2, Malveaux has wrongly and repeatedly claimed that Pelosi had no "standing" and was not acting in an "official capacity," has attacked the trip as "political theater" and a "political stunt," and has parroted the Bush administration's attacks on Pelosi for going to Syria while ignoring the fact that a Republican-led delegation met with Assad on April 1. Most recently, Malveaux asked whether Pelosi's trip was a "big wet kiss to President Al-Assad."

Other CNN personalities have joined in as well. Lou Dobbs devoted an entire segment to "Pelosi's bad trip," while the April 3 edition of Anderson Cooper 360 featured a segment on Pelosi's trip titled "Talking to Terrorists."

After several days of inaccurate, one-sided coverage, it's time to tell CNN enough is enough. It's time to take action.

wtf are you talking about? tokyo pelosi is a terrorist. cnn is doing the right thing.

Phoenix 04-05-2007 03:58 PM

cnn should be more like fox news

that way when kids are watching they will see it is right to riducle someone and make suggestions to the fact that they might be retarded.

surely meeting arguements with facts is a waste of time and shouldnt concern any young and proud citizen.

citizensd band together now and stop the liberal media from destroying the minds of the young...if you put too many facts before someone they might pick the wrong side..we dont want to disillusion the youth with hopes and freedoms they can fight for but never have

The Liberal Washington Post doesn't agree with you:

if you're liberal and the Clinton News Network is questioning you, you're a real fuckup.

I guess even CNN has limits to what it will support when it comes to back stabbing the country.

Been travelling the globe for the last.. roughly six weeks and missing out on the fun Tony and never followed the US stuff.

But on the rare occasions seeing CNN in other countries, there is a *vast* difference between CNN International and the regional US version. Dumping all political stuff - sure, the US version is clearly not a news media in the normal sense and ya can expect any old crap and personal opinion to creep in.

Tho, got to give em some credit, - the International version is not bad and contains actual news items - without anchors offering their personal opinions.

PS Actually saw FoxNews channel in Peru recently - damned funny and pathetic - and is apparently thought of like that. It's embarassing! *lol*

Hehe... I'm gonna sharpen my spelling skills now I'm back on GFY and remember how to spell "idiot", "sicko" and "euthanasia". The first two words are very handy for the GFY idiocy and the third word is the solution - which should have happened at birth with some of em :pimp

Every terrorist has a motive. And don't say "they hate our freedom" either. That is just the Republican brainwashing reason behind terrorism.

Let's get one thing straight. You can't prevent terrorism. You can have all the color coded security levels, checkpoints and travel item bans you want. None of that stops a terrorist from strapping a bomb to himself and walking into a crowded mall now does it?

So if you can't stop determined terrorists, you can either eliminate their motive or psyche yourself into believing "the war on terror" is one that can be fought with our military might.

Anyone who thinks the US military can win the war on terror, stop and ask yourself how the police are doing in the war on drugs. It's the same type of thing.

In closing, remember one thing. There has been two terrorist attacks on this country. Both were put into action (that is, going from sleeper cell to go ahead) when Republican presidents were in power.

Instead of wondering whether CNN is or isn't left biased, here's a link to an exhaustive list of the news station's journalists. Then, just search out party affiliations. That will give you a more accurate picture. Here you go:

Shouldn't take all day.

Actually instead of looking at their party affiliations - look at their family members - lets see:
Howard Kurtz - Reliable Sources host - married to Sheri Annis, President of Fourth Estate Strategies, is a GOP spokesperson and was the spokesperson for Arnies campaign in Ca

Campbell Brown (NBC-damned liberals) - husband - Dan Senor- Former Coalition Provisional Authority chief spokesman, contributor to Fox News, former intern for American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), senior associate of The Carlyle Group. director US-Israel Business Exchange (USIBEX)
Her sister Wendy is the head of the AIPAC office in Jerusalem
Brother(inlaw) is the Opinion editor of Jerusalem Post

John Ellis, Fox News - in charge of Fox's projections of the election in 2000 - G Bush's cousin

Tucker Carlson, MSNBC(more damn liberals) - father is Vice Chairman of neo-con Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD), member Scooter Libby Legal Defense Fund Trust

Bob Schieffer, CBS News(libs again) - brother is U.S. Ambassador to Japan, former U.S. Ambassador to Australia, former President of the Texas Rangers baseball team when G. W. Bush made millions from a $700,000 investment as general partner

Andrea Mitchell, NBC News - husband - Alan Greenspan

John Podhoretz - again CNN reliable sources - father is Project for the New American Century member and former editor in chief of the magazine of the American Jewish Committee ....mother is Midge Decter - Heritage Foundation and Project for the New American Century

Robert Kagan, Columnist, Washington Post - also the founder of PNAC - wife is Bush administration's Permanent Representative to NATO

George Will, ABC News - wife was the 2006 National Republican Senatorial Committee Chair and has been a republican operative for the Doles for two decades

Republicans Vacationing in Syria, Too [Michael Ledeen]

Just in case anyone thought that the appeasement virus was limited to the Dems, a reader has called my attention to a Republican sortie to Damascus:

...a group of Republican lawmakers has embarked on their own trip to Syria. Michael Lowry, a spokesman for Representative Robert Aderholt, said that the Alabama lawmaker will visit Syria as part of a Republican delegation led by Representative Frank Wolf, a Virginia Republican. Wolf is the top Republican on the House appropriations subcommittee that funds the State Department.

I guess Frank Wolf needs to figure out how much money we should give to Bashar Assad for all the help he's giving the terrorists in Iraq, huh? And of course Senator Specter set the trend, so the Pubs are competitive in the big race to encourage our enemies.

Heaven forfend anyone in Congress should hate a dictator.

Pelosi is THIRD in line to the Presidency of the United States of America, all these congressman can go visiting Syria but Pelosi should not be visiting terrorist supporting countries like Syria(whose people have been streaming into Iraq for the sake of Jihad), she is way to high in the food chain of power.

You know its a bad idea when Jimmy Carter approves of it.
