Affiliate programs don't have/buy decent domains for their paysites anymore.

I must say they've gotten pretty creative lately.

I can't say I know why exactly - but my immediate guess would be overall cheapness and the ability to disapear like a thief in the night without losing a major domain investment.

There is just not that many available domain names to go around. For affiliate traffic it does not matter that much since they all link to it. Good domains are mostly important for type-ins.

like someone else said, if they want good type in sales having a good domain is always beneficial.
