Want to move to Portland for a while? HIGH END CONDO FOR RENT.

If anyone is looking to move to portland for a while I have a nice brand new condo for rent in the new upscale South Waterfront District of Portland Oregon.

www.johnrosscondo.com

Its small but upscale. 815 square feet. $1550.00 a month. I can do month to month as well.

Just got the keys yesterday on it. Looking to rent it out come May...

But before then it will be a BP4L pad.... Poker parties.... No bukkake....

By the hour? Only to escorts.

And yes I hear ya.

I have a 5000 sq foot home out in the subs of Portland... I love it. NBA Trailblazers are my neighbors.

But the urban living thing this condo provides is a whole nother ballgame.

I was actually looking to buy one of those condos. But I don't want to live in Portland, so I'm moving to Canby next week. Out in Beavercreek, OR right now.

Portland will remind me too much of So Cal lol I like the distance from the "big cities" now.

Yeah.. This area has been compared to yours...

Hopefully in a few more years it will be like it!

Wow not to far at all from where I'm at. Yea I wasn't interest in paying that type of money they wanted for a 815 sq ft condo.

I'd rather get a 2000+ sq ft house for the same or cheaper.

Yeah not my cup of tea either.. But if I were young rich and single Id consider it.

Im old, poor and married so its not for me..

Someone looking for the "life" will love this urban living setting.

815 sq ft is small, right now in the country living on 5 acres I have a 5000 sq ft house. Going from this to just a 2000 sq ft is gonna be hard. Imagine going to a 815 sq ft or smaller.

815 sq ft is SMALL, to me atleast.

djscrib 04-04-2007 03:24 PM

On the unfortunate side the waterfront condo market in portland has pretty much crashed due to overbuilding with tons of unsold condos sitting on the market, and thousands of more units due to be completed in the next year (those unfinished buildings in the above photos).

Well if I was still single I might consider it. But yea it's not really for me.

I like the old, poor comment. When I met you at the ThinkReel/ReelProfits foundation room get together 2 years ago you didn't seem to be "old, poor" :1orglaugh

JDog 04-04-2007 03:25 PM

Is this in the Pearl District?

Dude, you remember when I bought this thing?? Seems like ages ago.. Back in 2005..

Ive been waiting for this day to get the keys now for 2 years.. Now its finally done..

When I first bought it, I was thinking at the time maybe someone like Voodoo could live in it.

SHit ya not.

Kimo 04-04-2007 03:26 PM

810 Square Feet - $1650.00 per month. That's like over $2/sq.ft per month. way too rich for my blood.

Worried 04-04-2007 03:28 PM

815 sq feet is pretty big. My place is 750 sq feet and I pay 1600. I live in Southern California though. My place has a kickass gym though (gym quality) and has a very nice resort style pool.

No.. This is the new area.. The south waterfront district..

The OHSU bio tech district.

The perl is building as well. Has been since 1996.. ITs more developed. Thats the area where some of the condo market has slowed..

But the south waterfront is a different story..

And those "buildings" in the background as djscrip was suggesting to have all been sold out.

Perhaps some confusion with the perl district I think he had. Where yes things have slowed down.

Becasue of the south waterfront.

Yeah, but you live in Tennessee. Supply and demand. No one wants to live in backwards hick state, so the prices are low.

Yeah people who already live in large urban cities like NewYork, Vancover, LA, in upscale areas know the setting and the lifestyle..

Its a totally different ballgame than the home owners in the subs.

Two diff lifestyles.

Here in Portland things are evolving. The hear of Portland is getting stronger and more and more a place to be.

The subs and outskirts which were once hot have slowed down quite a bit as have many housing markets in the Country.

Peaches 04-04-2007 03:35 PM

I would do it for a month or so just to have a change of scenery, but the dogs would destroy it :(

Nice place though! I can't believe Portland is becoming so built up.

C H R I S 04-04-2007 03:36 PM

Does it come with free Internext Passes?
