Yesssssssssss!!! I did not break my achilles WOOT WOOT!!
Thank fucking GOD! I guess I broke some other ligament or tendon right next to it and then strained some other tendon too. I'm so happy!!! Gosh, I've been envisioning 50K or more and casts and crutches for 18 months to 2 years.
Instead I guess I did the right thing by making sure it was immobilized even though I did go ahead and take off to Phoenix. I gotta keep my boot for a total of 6 weeks and then work it back to shape on my own. Omg I'm so happy and relieved. WHEW!!! |

Man oh man I'm just so happy. No crutches needed anymore either. That was such a total pain in the ass. It was sure different to drag my ass around on a couple of poles when I was 25 vs. 34 that's for sure. WHEWWWW |

I just spent 5 weeks in a boot for something similar. It was worse than the time I actually broke it.
I'm still in some slight pain, but the fucking boot annoyed the hell out of me so I ditched it. |

Breaking a bone is nothing compared to tendon/ligament damage. Anyone that saw your face felt your pain at the show Nicole but remember that's what pain medication is for.... to help you get through it and Keep on Truckin'. :thumbsup
