Desperate Need Of Help
 

Hello GFY

I am in need of some help.

I just had a fire. I live in a rented house and when we were all out the house suffered a huge fire - everything was lost, my computers, family pictures, clothing - everything.

I have never asked anyone for any help before - I have been on this board for quite a while and never been a sig whore, never caused any fake drama, just came in to visit and read the board.

I am a single father of two young girls - both under ten, the youngest one is going to Florida tomorrow, Thursday, to visit her mother.

I really need some quick cash in order to get us up and running again as fast as possible. I know all the excuses - why doesn't he have money in the bank (I did but used up what saving I had to send my daughter to Florida - it wasn't much) - why no insurance (I guess when you rent you don't really think of that).

Make no mistake that this is not a post asking for a handout - more like a loan, as I will pay every single cent back.

I cannot sit by the computer and answer every question (as it is not my computer) but I will check in every hour or so to see in anything is happening.

I live in Toronto, I actually used to live in an area called the Beaches that had a fire almost everyday. Toronto has almost 6 million people living in the greater metro area so finding a link to a fire is not very difficult. But I'm not going to so that, the reason being is that these articles tend to have your real name and address and maybe even a picture or two - not information I want posted on the net.

I do understand your reasons for being skeptical - hopefully you will understand my answer.

sorry to hear about that, but in order to prove it's not a scam post a picture of yourself posing in front of your burnt down house with a sign that says "gfy."
