why doesnt epass offer account insurance like the bank does FDIC insured?

just because it isnt a federal institution, they could still offer this to customers for a premium. its just good business and shows they atleast are attemepting to give the customer an option to pay extra for account protection.

epass clearly isnt on anyones side but their own here.

Id pay an extra 6.95 a month to protect the money we send in and out of epass.

think of the all that extra money you coul pocket epass? its a business decission that would only fatten your pockets. Dont tell me you have never thought of this? a system so secure like yours shouldnt be able to be compromised so easily so the fall out would not nearly outweigh the pl paying a premium to protect their account therefor making you jerks that much richer.

I will senda bill for my business advice.

thanks

Who would provide the insurance? If the premium gets paid to epass then it's a conflict of interest.

FDIC has nothing to do with insurance in cases of fraud... it's only for protecting people from banks going bankrupt or saving associations otherwise failing.

I do like the idea of them offering a monthly fee though and providing their own insurance.

You are a program owner and know how many scammers there are out there.

If something like this were offered how many people do you think would give their password to their buddy and ask them to clean out their account then come running claiming they had done nothing wrong and their system is 100% secure?

FDIC Insurance is provided only when the bank or financial institution goes bankrupt, it doesn't prevent or compensate in the cases of fraud or identity theft.

to the epass guy, we actually have fraud sacrubbing in place and have very LOW fraud.

dont know what you guys are doing over there at epass other than not cooperating with jfk ;)

Why not just insure your funds yourself against fraud? A normal insurance company should be able to add it to your business insurance.
