Canadians, where to travel to?
 

I'm thinking about heading over to Canada for a little while for an extended holiday. Where should I be going, seeing? Where should I be looking for accomodation?

Anyways, Toronto (my home town) is an awesome city, so is Montreal. Also, the east coast rocks (Halifax etc...)

ahaha Toronto, how about Vancouver, it is rated one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

edit-- i hear montreal, quebec is also nice. toronto would not be in my top 3

My city that i live in is pretty small but i'd suggest ottawa or montreal

I was hoping to get to the nice weather, I don't really want to head into the middle of winter thats for sure. I've been told Vancouver Island, Ontario for the falls, so I'll add Toronto to the list as well. Can you ski in summer or is it really only winter?

What sort of prices would I be looking at for rents?

In the summer, there's a lot of action in the streets of Montreal and the skirts are short. If you wanna go to remote places, you can go to Iles-de-la Madeleine(plane) and do kite or in Gaspesie.

You can also go see some whales on the north coast of Quebec

If you go to on the west coast, you can go in natural hot springs

There's the snow/ski party towns like banff, whistler.

You can also go in the Okanagan Valley in BC where there is a micro-climate and even the only real canadian Desert. They also produce great frozen wines in that area.

You can also do some surf on the south coast of BC

Also, if you can be in Quebec City june 24th, you'll have a huge party where you can drink in the streets for the Quebec National day.
