Plasma vs LCD TV's - whats the difference?
 

does anyone know the real diff between these two?

I gotta cop a new TV this week

a good LCD over a plasma anytime.

Short answer: Not much.

A cheap plasma vs. a cheap LCD - about a tie.
An average plasma vs. an average LCD - LCD wins.
An expensive plasma vs. an expensive LCD - Plasma wins*

*unless of course it is a LCD screen with LED backlighting, in which case the LCD screen would be superior.

Plasma is also going to be on the way out within the next year or two as SED TV's will replace them.

lcd last longer
lcd is lighter....

that's should help u with your decision

plasma tech is still in development, costs more, etc

As far as I know LCDs TV are much better :)
