Why do some tgps want only their recip on gallery submissions?
 

I dont get the logic.
Dont they want the traffic that comes from listings on other tgps?

Maybe they don't want their traffic going to other TGP's

Yeah, but why ask for a recip at all? I mean, if all the people who see a version of a gallery come from some given TGP, then they aren't the most likely to click on that link, are they? Who does it do any good?

but if theyre skimming on their gallery listings then theyre already sending their traffic out

but if you let people recip you with other 2 other tgps then you have 3x more links out there pointing to you for spiders to pick up

a lot of people steal galleries, if your recip is the only one on it they are less likely too

Its a respect issue...its sort of like getting an exclusive gallery made for your site. I know i appreciate it,

to get the link to their tgp on thousands of galleries that get indexed by search engines. thats why they ask for a recip to only their tgp.

but it should get spidered either way if it has 1 recip or 3

Google and Yahoo go by link popularity. If your site is linked on 4 sites rather then 50,000. 50,000 will be higher up. They figure if that many sites have you linked, it must be worth something.
