No Ethics/Morals = $4,000 a month
A few months ago, I bid on an ebay auction for 9 million adult hits and won. Never thought I would get that many, but what the hell, so I did all the setup steps, although they were wholy incomplete and got less than 5 referrals to date. No biggie, I got ripped because I didn't do my research. I should have known because he hid his bidders and comments. Even tried to talk to the guy about it but he didn't care.
I was bored at work today so thought I would find out if that guy was still at it. Here are his current auctions: http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=vidscen tral&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=25 Yep, so I looked at his completed items: http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewListedItems&user id=vidscentral&include=0&since=30&sort=3&rows=200 This guy has banked about $4,000 (paste into excel and add colums) in 1 month selling totally bogus advertising hits on a site that is fed chinese traffic. Unbelievable!! Lesson = No morals or ethics, and very eloquent marketing text that ultimately promises the world but no guarantees = $4,000 income a month. Sometimes it absolutely sucks to have a conscience. |
how much did he get you for?
|
maybe someone should pay a visit, and staple his face.
|
ebay is full of scammers and of course its not the proper place to make a traffic deal
|
But did you get the 9 million hits?
The guy is operating fast but if he delivered it is not exactly fraud. If it is then charge it back if you did Paypal. Anyways buying traffic is crazy...If he could make money via sales he would have taken it himself already. He just sold the worthless Guangzhao cyber cafe traffic. |
NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER
Bid on anyone who hides their feedback. eBay should be sued for some of the crap they pull. I used to make my living off of ebay and they will not do anything to cheaters like this. Even worse - you have some cheaters who will retaliate and leave negative feedback even though YOU DID NOTHING against the rules and they did. They will even say it in their feedback and ebay will do nothing. Look at his retracted bids as well. Always check out the reason, but if someone has a retracted bid - it almost always means they changed their mind and think they are above the rules. This guy is scum and should be arrested. He never will be most likely. One thing some people have done to get back at ebay's crappy policies is to make fake accounts and bid at the last minute to protect people from these scammers. It is against their rules of course, but when they refuse to pull someones account who is obviously cheating - what choice do you have. Notice - as log as the person has more positive feeback than negative - ebay will not ban them 99% of the time. I had some lady with 30+ bid retractions that retracted a bid on me as well. I reported her and they sent her a "warning". eBay needs to start being held accountable. They lied to the public about the whole pez thing too. |
i thought ebay had a thing with treadeenable that they hold the money until the product is delivered, then they give the money to the seller.

If it looks too good to be true it most always is.

Probably selling hit bot traffic |
Juicylinks - just $20, its not the money, just the frustration
Hahmike - indeed, but I will wait until I am in his city to do it personally :P Not warranted to make a special trip. Chris R - Yeps, learned my lesson. I am just frustrated that the little weeney continues to make a bit of jack off of others. I thought today about reporting him to the BBB or IRS or something but I don't know if there is even a process for that. Jizz Mopper - Yep, did that too but paypal declined and said that they do not cover the quality of hte product, if it was delivered, it is fine by them. They seem to think 5 hits out of the millions was enough. As to the rest, I agree completely. I got screwed and that is okay because this has only happened, and will only happen once, once to me. I kinda feel that it was important to do two things: show others that buying traffic from www.directcelebrity.com is a big mistake, and also show some of the money hungry people how easy it could be to make a few bucks (and bring this guy some competition to snake some of his loot right out from under him). It would be easy as hell to do but I don't like to cheat like that. |
9 million hits for $20.. mm :thumbsup

isn't it 3 complaints of fraud and he gets banned on ebay?
i've had a couple people banned on ebay. if he's ripped off that many people there's no way he would still have an account. |

9 million hits for $20?
I'm selling the Brooklyn Bridge for $50. At least get something tangible if you're going to spend your hard earned money. |

First off, the deal is way too good to be true, second (and to quote the auction page) : "If just 1% of those people bought your item for say $5, thats $5,500,000 in your wallet! The possibilities are endless. " Well, 1% or 6 million is 60,000, now if those 1% all bought something for $5 (6*60k) = $300,000 not $5.5 million. Whoever did this is a moon, you should be a lot more careful with ebay. ;) Joe |
Damn, what a homo that guy is. Should of known not to buy traffic off of eBay though. :(
|
I had the same issue with him about 2 months ago, why do you think his profile is hidden :) I went back in and bought up all his auctions and then posted bad comments on all of them :1orglaugh You should do the same thing !! Just buy up all his auctions and then no one else will be burned !!!
Tim :Graucho |
i only buy traffic from ebay.
|
All eBay cares about is getting their money. They don't care about scammers, people scalping tickets, and shit like that.
