Yep, I'm on vacation and I'm gonna be on dial-up till this Fri. How the fuck is 80% of the surfers still using this?? I can't even j/o to my own site cause it takes to long to download my vid's. I miss dsl :mad:

Havent used it in awhile, but a few months back when i did, I could barely accept the difference.

I just got back home last night after staying with my folks since the 2nd. I was sitting on a dial-up there and I still can't figure out how I ever worked with that shit, damn. I feel your pain man, stay strong.

You are spoiled. You just have to change your habits, j/o at pics instead of vids and instead of loading up 20 galleries at a time so you can quickly view them, you have to do it one by one :)

I cannot believe I was webmastering for over a YEAR on a aol account because I was too lazy to have cable installed. Roadrunner is soooo much faster than aol (whenever I can get on-line, I have connection problems but that's another issue)

I can download content zip files in seconds that used to take around 40 minutes or even more on aol!

But I still have my aol account because I still receive mail there :(

i have roadrunner too but im not happy with the upload speed.. it goes up to about 15kb/sec only and slows down my download speed badly

what are good alternatives with about 2mbit/sec both up- and down-load speed?

I have been on Cox for almost a month now & I can't imagine going back to dial-up. Everything is so much faster, which means I can get more done.
