your host should take care of this for you. it's not that painful.

Sorry to hear you had problems, but it shouldn't be painful at all. As mentioned, your host should take care of this for you!

a new host should be more than willing to get all your stuff over to your new server and running. if not, then maybe you are with the wrong host.:2 cents:

No nothing really went wrong it's adjusting everything re adding databases, recoding things, just alot of work...Webair is my host. and they are going to my blog and message board working again.. Just little things here and there. Been going since I woke up this morning and haven't stopped. I love being busy but geez...

DB and the whole site ( including mail ) should be without a glinch ...

But, yes, it can happen.... In the case of WP, the best is to dump the tables, and import them again from a dump you did on the old server....

I migrated over 100 sites this week ( mostly mainstream ) and the only one I had a bug was ... mine.... all the clients were ok .

I am sure your new host will take care of you properly.
