I'd go with one of the big ones like godaddy, namecheap (or just through enom directly).

Got my own reseller account with a company on the OpenSRS platform, just costs me $6.49 per domain. ;)

Woops, they caught on and changed their registrar since you posted this. Imagine that.
Now they are using PublicDomainRegistry, and I have noted quite a few rogue sites there as well lately
