I actually lived in Syracuse for 5 yrs. (I used to own a Dunkin Donuts shop there). Not the prettiest city (the lake in the middle of the city is reputed to be the most polluted in the US). The surrounding area, like where this story is based is rural.

I think that whoever wrote that article also had a residence in the mobile home park...
