is there a tgp administration script available that creates thumbnail previews for the links to galleries (ie. http://www.rawpussy.com/)?

i think you would be easier to have an image uploader oon the submit page then in the script reference the thumbnail rather than the text

Actually, I have a future release of TGPDevil that does that. I have sold it to a couple of sites but it's strictly a custom script for now. It doesn't ask for an upload on submission, but will take a look at the gallery and randomly choose a thumbnail, download it to a directory and display it on the main page with a link to the gallery from which it came. I see a lot more tgps going to the thumbs preview. It's mostly CJ sites with the same owner, but I still see more and more.

It'd be a killer on bandwidth I'd think.

How does the script choose a good area for the pic considering that it seems most of these site's scripts crop a large portion of the pic?

In one of his last emails GERMES mentioned that he's working on a version of his script which will be doing that, too! Unfortunately he's on vacation 'til the end of the month, so you'll have to wait a little...

Question: What percentage of people who surf tgp's are on dialup do you guys think?

I keep my site very simple, hardly any flashy graphics at all. As surfer friendly as possible. I always try to remember that just because I'm on cable - doesn't mean all my visitors are.

I always wonder what TGP owners think when they have 10-15 thumbnail previews of galleries on their site. Or do they care?

I haven't used Jimbo's script - still waiting to hear from a buddy on ICQ about it.

I do use TGP Devil with the thumb preview add-on. Makes my life so much easier it isn't funny.

You can config AutoGalleryPro to do the thumb listing, however, you need to make your own thumbs.

Jimbo, do you have a script that can randomly grab a thumb from a sponsor hosted gallery and able to operate without any human intervention?

I just finished up my gallery checker .. it took forever .. but if anyone wants to do a little beta testing and has a script w/o good protection lmk. I wanna integrate it with other scripts just for the fuck of it. It can check 2000 galleries per minute with very little overhead. Must have php4.0.3 with socket support compiled in.

autogallery does the thumbs by itself on my tgp i don't understand what you mean?

yeah nibbi's comus tgp is great too and cheap also,
this script was made with imput from many webmasters for what they needed and the previous version worked like a charm,
i havent tried the new version but i assume its got lots of improvements

Im using MadTGP for 4 months now.
I still have the version 1 and got to tell you guys theres nothing like it.
If you can buy it go for it, you wont regrate it.
Cant wait for version 2 :)
