Ever made sales via chat program ?
 

A few months ago I did a test on a new chat program that came out back then. Unfortunately I can't remember the name anymore, but that's not important.

Anyway - so I created an account called 'Crazy Gurl', and adjust my member info accordingly. 18 years of age, highschool, interests: boys, chat and flirting.

After literally 20 seconds (!) on that proggy, 6 males contacted me and wanted to see pics ... Well, I pointed them to a Tawnee Gallery of mine, telling them they could see me live in action, would they only signup for my very private page. LOL !
Made 6 sales that night of 5 hours chatting with horny asian dudes.

Gotta love modern technology. :1orglaugh

I have heard that in the good ol' days one could really clean up by hanging out on paltalk with a name like Ravishing_Rachael or Spreading_Sally and sending dumbasses to clickcash. :winkwink:

Unfortunately surfers have gotten a tad smarter and don't fall for that as easily anymore.

There was a guy who used to pretend he was a girl and he would sit in chat rooms, doing pretty much what you did.

What made his act spammy was he would tell them to join the trial and then cancel (His sponsor paid on trials), which, I presume you did not do. Directing someone to your gallery page is just another marketing method, I should think.

He got his account cancelled.

I don't think what you did is spam and there are all kinds of chat room whores (no offense) that do this very thing to drive traffic to their sponsors.

Then again....read the terms of service for your sponsor and see what they have to say.

This is a touchy subject with alot of sponsors. I would belive long as you are not in the main chat room saying hey go to my site at whatever, and you are just talking in private with someone and tell them to check your site out your ok. Its just when you get people in the main chatrooms spamming every few mins saying go here go there thats when you will get nailed. Just my :2 cents: I maybe way off.

As I emphasized - I did not spam any chat rooms, I had private conversations AFTER those people contacted me and wanted to see me nekkid, lol. It was a one-time project cuz I wanted to see if it was really possible to convince a shithead of signing up.

But it's much more work than you think, I rather prefer the 'normal' advertizing ways :-)
