How do you drink your coffee?
 

I used to drink mine black all the day. Cup after cup of black coffee.

Now I put this stuff called International Delight in it. French Vanilla.

I like em all. But I'll drink coffee pretty much anyway (if it's good coffee), black, w brown sugar, honey, I've even put a teaspoon-full of maple syrup (the real stuff from Quebec) in it. It's all good.

Anyways, if you're like me and never wash your coffeemaker, you should! A few months ago I looked under the rim of the coffeepot and I saw some REALLY DISGUSTING crap that traumatized the living shit out of me! It was SO gross I won't even mention what it was on GFY. So from now on I only drink instant coffee....

You raise a good point. You can buy all the high-end extra fine grind you want to, but if you're using a dirty coffee pot/coffee maker, you're not drinking good coffee.

Every few months, you should pour a cup of vinegar into your coffee maker, top it up with water, and run it through several times.

Also on a daily basis, clean all the little parts and the pot itself with dishsoap and water, to remove the oils from old batches of coffee. Do that and you'll always have decent tasting brew.

I only drink instant when I'm out of the good stuff and too lazy to get over to the store.

I usually clean the pot fairly regularly. I evidently didn't do it for a while though because the other day it got clogged and when I took it apart there was all kinds of gunk in there. LOL.

Generally, when I drink coffe, it's a big ol' hazelnut moccachino or something. On the rare occasions when I drink actual coffee, I like it with a drop of milk and a ton of sugar. I am much more partial to tea. Luckily, I ended up in the right country for that. They drink it like water here. "Would you like a drink?" pretty much means "Want some tea?" ;)

I've cut down on the amount of coffee I drink these days - but the wife and I still go through 8 quarts of International Delights Irish Cream a week.

You guys wanna know what I found hidden UNDER the rim of my coffeepot??? Some dead cockroaches!!!! :repuke And I drank from that pot for months without knowing! Reason being is that they were hidden under the metal rim around the pot, so they are practially invasible unless you look at it under a certain angle..

Usually just black with sugar. The only time I have milk or cream in coffee is when I buy a cup at Starbucks or somewhere like that.

I only drink decaf though. If I have regular now the caffeine hits me like a wall. I'm hyper for 90 minutes and then I crash.
